What I hear so often and what I respond to it
As you see I have started using this lovely platform more since last year. To share updates, ideas, ask for help and above all, position myself.
It has brought me so much.
New connections, new ideas. Inspiration and as well frustration.
It has brought me direction and a new positioning.
A positioning that goes beyond a title.
I cannot say this enough. My life didn't end when I left luxury.
My ideas and identity didn't stopped when Scotch&Soda went bankrupt.
My words still mattered when I left what I thought was my dreamjob.
I still had words, ideas, identity and a life before all of this, event though I remained quite silent here in the past. I just now find the joy in sharing them more.
During my last panel talk with Fashion & Luxury Society (FLS), I heard it again. "I'm don't know where to start." So for all of them, and all other people who don't know what to post on LinkedIn or feel bound by their company and job title, but do want to share more of their ideas on Linkedin,
Just start.
Start talking about what excites you in the industry. Share about what you wanted to be when you grew up and how that formed you.
Share about what it means to be a women in luxury, in automotive, or as a student applying for a new role.
The world is waiting for your words.
And if you are scared to get that first "Like", tag me, and I promise you, I will give you the well deserved excitement 💜
