An ode to girls worldwide

October 11th. International Day of the Girl. Wereldmeisjesdag.
A day more special then Womens day. A day where we can draw attention to the position for little girls. To give them a role model. A future to look up to. To give them the believe they can do anything they want to.

I'm dedicating my career to show girls they can dream big. To all my interns I was lucky enough to guide in the beginning of their careers. To the 25 highschool girls from Dalí College mavo-havo. To the 20 girls in my classes from Amsterdam Fashion Academy. To all my nieces, who are sending me messages they are so proud of the changes i made. Especially Emma Nijveld, on this picture with me. You can do it girls.

And of course I'm doing everything I can for my little star girl Lily. For who i wished nothing other then to be able to live a happy, peaceful and healthy life in safety and love. I hope I can still make you proud.
